April 19th will begin the most intense and highly-contested Western Conference playoffs the NBA has ever seen, or at least that's how it looks on paper.  We'll see who brings their "A" game, and we'll see who, if anyone, folds and collapses.  Boston and Detroit are the beasts of the East, but I would be very cautious of Washington, Orlando, and Cleveland, because as we all saw last season, Lebron can single-handedly lead his team to the NBA Finals.  The Spurs are my #1 team, and the Jazz are my #2, so those are my choices, I'm hoping for a Western conference rematch.  I would really like to see the Spurs win back-to-back titles for once, instead of taking a year before deciding they want to win it all again.  Come one, come all, make your most outrageous predictions, just be prepared to back them up with facts, or be prepared to eat crow.

But I LOVE their cheerleaders.  What is it with the city of Dallas that the owners of the sports teams can't let their personnel managers handle the personnel decisions.  I have never seen two bigger jacka$$ owners than Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban.  If I was a player, I would hate to play for either one of them.  Unless of course your PacMan "I think I'm a character out of a video game" Jones, who thinks he is above the law, and for that matter, bigger than the NFL, but as he is finding out, he's not.  Tell me what you think.  I hate the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks, and its sad, because its a beautiful city, and I enjoy visiting there.  But I could NEVER support their teams.

Ok, I'm bored at work, and the other threads I'm on were slow today, so I thought I'd write something up and see if I get any responses from anybody.  Just tell me why or why don't you hate the Lakers.  Or you can post something totally irrelevant to the subject, I don't care.
